What should Truro homeowners know about woodgrain sectional doors?
Can it match my front door and windows?
Many woodgrain effects are chosen to match common window and door foils. Bring a sample or a photo to the survey and we will compare.
Why not a real timber sectional door?
Real timber sectional doors exist and look superb, but timber moves with the seasons and needs regular finishing. A woodgrain-effect steel door keeps its colour and shape with only an occasional wash.

Questions from Truro customers
How much is a woodgrain sectional garage door?
Woodgrain finishes usually add to the cost of a door. As a guide, a single woodgrain sectional door supplied and fitted is around £2,295–£3,195.
Does a woodgrain door need varnishing?
No. It is a factory finish on steel, so it only needs washing.
Which parts of Truro do you cover?
We cover Truro across postcode districts TR1, along with nearby Falmouth, Redruth and Newquay. Dates are agreed when you book.
Will Cornwall Council need to approve my new garage door?
Usually not. Replacing a garage door, including with an electric sectional door, does not normally need planning permission in England unless the house is listed, in a conservation area or Article 4 area, or has planning conditions affecting the garage. If in doubt, ask Cornwall Council before ordering.
