What rules apply in Limavady?

If your property in Limavady is listed, in a conservation area or on an estate with planning conditions, Causeway Coast and Glens Borough Council is the authority to check with before ordering.

Northern Ireland planning rules usually allow a replacement garage door in the same opening. Check with the council planning office first if the property is listed or in a conservation area.

Northern Ireland has no Part P equivalent, but electrical work for an operator should still be done to BS 7671 and certified.

Under the Windsor Framework, products placed on the market in Northern Ireland follow EU rules, so doors carry CE marking (with UKNI where a UK body assessed them). UKCA marking on its own is not accepted in Northern Ireland.
