Choosing a new sectional garage door for a home in Crowthorne
Do you supply doors for others to fit?
This service is supply and fit. Spring-loaded doors are dangerous to install without training, which is why we fit what we supply.
What happens on fitting day?
The old door is taken out, the opening is prepared, the frame and vertical tracks go in, the horizontal tracks are hung from the ceiling, the panels are assembled section by section, and the springs are fitted and set. The operator is fitted last, then everything is tested.

What will a new sectional garage door cost in Crowthorne?
Guide price: £2,095–£2,795 inc VAT. That covers the door, fitting, removal of a standard old door and VAT; the fixed price follows the free survey.
The survey is free and there is no obligation. We measure width, height, headroom, side room and depth, and look at power for an operator.
Planning and regulations for Crowthorne homes
Planning questions for homes in Crowthorne go to Wokingham Council. Most garage door swaps need no permission, but conservation areas and listed buildings are the exceptions.
A new garage door in an existing opening is not normally development needing planning permission in England. The exceptions are listed buildings, conservation areas, Article 4 areas and estates where a planning condition restricts changes to the garage.
If the garage already has a socket near the operator position, no electrical notification is needed. A brand-new circuit is notifiable under Part P in England.

Questions from Crowthorne customers
Do I need to clear the garage?
Please clear the area just inside the opening and along both side walls and the ceiling for the length of the tracks.
Do I need to be home?
Someone needs to be there at the start and for the handover at the end, so we can agree the details and show you how everything works.
