Planning and regulations for Cirencester homes
Planning questions for homes in Cirencester go to the local district or borough council. Most garage door swaps need no permission, but conservation areas and listed buildings are the exceptions.
In England you can usually replace a garage door without planning permission. Check first if the house is listed, sits in a conservation area or Article 4 area, or was built with planning conditions covering the garage.

It needs an operator rated for its size and weight, which may be a heavier rail operator or a shaft-mounted unit.
