Large and oversized sectional garage doors in Walton-on-the-Naze

Large and oversized sectional garage doors: what matters for Walton-on-the-Naze garages

Is a domestic operator enough?

Not always. Larger, heavier doors need an operator rated for the size, and very large doors may use a shaft-mounted operator instead of a ceiling rail.

When is a door oversized?

Anything taller than about 2.3 metres or wider than a typical double, roughly 5 metres, usually moves into larger spring and track specifications. Motorhome garages often need heights of 3 metres or more.
