How much does a coloured sectional door cost in Farnham?
Guide price: £2,095–£2,995 inc VAT. Prices include VAT and fitting. Building work to the opening or a new electrical circuit would be quoted separately.
The survey is free and there is no obligation. We measure width, height, headroom, side room and depth, and look at power for an operator.
Planning and regulations for Farnham homes
Farnham falls under the local district or borough council for planning and building control, which is the place to check if your home is listed or in a conservation area.
In England you can usually replace a garage door without planning permission. Check first if the house is listed, sits in a conservation area or Article 4 area, or was built with planning conditions covering the garage.

Questions from Farnham customers
How much extra is a coloured garage door?
Preferred colours such as anthracite grey often cost little or nothing extra; RAL colours to order usually add to the price. A coloured single door is typically around £2,095–£2,995 supplied and fitted.
Can I paint my sectional door later?
Repainting a factory-finished door can affect the warranty and is rarely as durable. It is better to order the colour you want.
Which parts of Farnham do you cover?
We cover Farnham across postcode districts GU9, GU10, along with nearby Godalming, Camberley and Haslemere. Dates are agreed when you book.
Will the local district or borough council need to approve my new garage door?
Usually not. Replacing a garage door, including with an electric sectional door, does not normally need planning permission in England unless the house is listed, in a conservation area or Article 4 area, or has planning conditions affecting the garage. If in doubt, ask the local district or borough council before ordering.
Do you also cover towns near Farnham?
Yes. Close to Farnham we also cover Godalming (8 mi), Camberley (9 mi), Haslemere (9 mi) and Guildford (10 mi).
