We supply and fit cassette sectional doors across East Sussex, including Brighton, Eastbourne, Hastings and Hove, with a free survey and a fixed written price for every door.

What should you know about cassette sectional doors in East Sussex?
How many cassettes will I get?
The number of cassettes per row depends on the door width and the range. The manufacturer sets the layout so cassettes stay well proportioned.
Which colours suit a cassette door?
White is the classic choice, with cream, heritage greens, blues and woodgrain effects popular on period homes.
Can a cassette door be insulated and electric?
Yes. Cassette panels are usually double-skin and insulated, and the door can be motorised like any other sectional door.
Which options can you choose?
- Woodgrain textureAdds a painted-timber feel.
- Cassette layoutGrid set by the manufacturer for the width.
- Window cassettesGlazed inserts in the top row on some ranges.
- Heritage coloursMany RAL colours to order.
How much does a cassette sectional door cost in East Sussex?
Guide price: £2,195–£2,895 inc VAT. Prices include VAT and fitting. Building work to the opening or a new electrical circuit would be quoted separately.
Our free survey checks the opening, headroom above it, room either side for the tracks, garage depth and where an operator will be powered from.
What rules apply in East Sussex?
In England, swapping a garage door for a new one, including an electric sectional door, does not normally need planning permission. Permission or consent can be needed if the house is listed, if it sits in a conservation area or is covered by an Article 4 direction, or if the new door would noticeably change how the house looks from the street. On many newer estates a planning condition removes permitted development rights or requires the garage to be kept for parking, so check your planning history before changing the door or the use of the garage.
Planning in East Sussex is handled by the district and borough councils, not the county council (Brighton & Hove City Council also cover parts of the area).
